July 9, 2020: SIDF Academy announced yesterday that it has concluded an executive training program, offered to leaders and national cadres across the industrial ecosystem, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Bandar Alkhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Chairman of the SIDF Board and a number of private and public sector leaders. Commenting on the program, SIDF's Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ibrahim Almojel mentioned that the support offered by SIDF to the Saudi industrial ecosystem is not limited to financial initiatives, but extends to professional development, training, and technical advisory to overcome the economic effects of COVID-19. “SIDF Academy has played a pioneering role in training and development. Since the beginning of this year, the Academy offered training to over 1000 business leaders and executives for both the public and private sectors in Saudi Arabia. The Academy builds on accumulated years of experience that extends for four decades," said Dr. Almojel. The “Executive Leadership in Critical Times" program is one of the enabling initiatives allowing exchange of knowledge between 53 leaders of the industrial sector given its high-quality training and development content. This 5-week executive program provides Saudi industry leaders with essential business and leadership skills to navigate business through critical times. It provided Saudi industry leaders with innovative competencies deemed essential to navigate through critical times and pursue growth opportunities in their industries.   SIDF Academy is the development center of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund and was established with the aim of articulating SIDF's 45-year expertise and best practices to the wider industrial ecosystem in Saudi Arabia. The Academy continues to collaborate with leading global learning providers to offer transformative learning programs. ​
