​ Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) participated in​ the 6th Future Investment Initiative Forum, held in Riyadh from 25th to 27th October 2022, under the theme of "Investing in Humanity: Enabling a New World Order". CEOs, business leaders, and officials from various financial and investment sectors attended FII's Forum. The CEO of SIDF, Dr. Ibrahim Almojel, participated in a panel discussion on "Navigating A Disentangling Globe", highlighting challenges associated with global supply chains. During the panel, Almojel discussed solutions to such challenges, including localizing supply chains and investing in advanced technology to help boost local industry efficiency and quality. SIDF's Deputy Chief Executive Officer, HH Prince Sultan bin Khalid Al Saud, also spoke on a panel titled "Maximizing Returns for Our People & Nation-Human Roi". He reviewed SIDF's leading role in evaluating economic returns through the projects SIDF supports in the industry, energy, mining, and logistics sectors, highlighting their positive impact on the local economy. Meanwhile, Almojel participated in the press conference, which brought together HE the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar I. Al-Khorayef, HE Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Eng. Osama A. Al-Zamil, and the President of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, HE Eng. Khalid Al-Salem. During his participation, Almojel touched on the National Industrial Strategy launched by HRH Crown Prince, stressing SIDF's commitment to enabling the Saudi industrial sectors in continuation of SIDF's leading role that it had been playing since its inception 48 years ago. SIDF participation stems from being the main financial enabler for KSA's transformation to become an industrial powerhouse and a global logistics hub, capitalizing on its experiences spanning nearly half a century.​
