SIDF's Third "Industrial Hackathon" Attracts More Than 8000 Talents

"The Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) announced the registration phase statistics for the third ""Industrial Hackathon"", an event focused on engaging young talents to present groundbreaking solutions to the challenges faced by national manufacturers.
From 25 August to 27 September, over 8,000 talents registered for the third ""Industrial Hackathon"". A total of 977 teams participated, spread across three tracks: Design, Sustainability, and Production.
The journey for the third ""Industrial Hackathon"" unfolds in several key phases. It begins with the registration period, followed by the announcement of candidates selected to advance to the boot camp on October 1st.The boot camp itself is scheduled for October 10th and 11th, offering participants hands-on workshops and mentorship sessions. The Hackathon will conclude with the announcement of winners and a closing ceremony on 12 October.
With over SAR 1.4 million in prizes, the ""2024 Industrial Hackathon"" will reward both winners and participants. Additionally, all participants will have access to a variety of training and development opportunities. This year's Hackathon is supported by partnerships with Riyad Bank, Alat, GASCO, Sipchem, and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and sponsored by Maaden and AlArabia."
