"The Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) announces the opening of registration for the 2nd Industrial Hackathon under the slogan “Unfold your own ideas"", and with the patronage of H.E. The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of SIDF, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef.

The “Industrial Hackathon 2023"" presents the Saudi manufacturers' challenges through three tracks: Design, Production, and Sustainability. In addition, the Industrial Hackathon consists of 4 phases, starting with ""The registration"" from August 13th until August 29th, “The screening"" from August 29th until September 7th, followed by “The training camp"" from September 14th until September 15th, and ""The announcement of the Hackathon's winners and closing ceremony"" on September 16th.

Moreover, the ""Industrial Hackathon 2023"" prize pool is 1,000,000 SAR distributed among the Hackathon's winners and participants, and it is launched in partnership with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology as an innovation partner, Riyad Bank as a financial partner, and Sipchem Company as a platinum partner.

SIDF encourages talents both citizens and residents, who are 18 years old and above to participate in the “Industrial Hackathon 2023"", which aims to link the ideas of talents with the needs of Saudi manufacturers to come up with creative solutions to solve real challenges in the industrial sector that will help in elevating the national product and enhancing its attractiveness locally and globally.

Building on the success of the first Industrial Hackathon and its incredible impact on the participants and owners of challenges, SIDF aims by launching the 2nd Industrial Hackathon, to shed light on its ongoing support towards Saudi manufacturers and to foster innovation and creativity, which play a pivotal role in the national industrial development."
