"The Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) to enhance the cooperation and support between the two entities. The ceremony was in the presence of SIDF's CEO H.H. Prince Sultan bin Khalid Al Saud, and the Governor of GOSI H.E Abdul Aziz bin Hassan Al Bouq at GOSI's Headquarter.

 

SIDF's Vice President of Studies, Eng. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Baqawi, and GOSI Assistant Governor for Insurance Affairs, Saud bin Sulaiman Al-Juhani singed the MoU.

 

The MoU aims to enable SIDF to benefit from the experience of GOSI in the field of safety and occupational health and safety statistics and data in the field of work injuries in industrial facilities. Additionally, the MoU aims to hold joint workshops between SIDF and GOSI regarding commitment and occupational risks prevention for industrial facilities' beneficiaries or those seeking to benefit from SIDF's services.

 

Moreover, the MoU sheds light on the cooperation between the two entities in advancing inspection models and increasing the commitment and safety and occupational health conditions, reducing the incidence of work injuries. In addition, it focuses on discussing joint working mechanisms and the roles of each party as well as policy and procedures spearheaded by a joint workforce."
